Excursion to Cheow Lan Lake in Khao Sok National Park

If you love nature and would like to visit one of Thailand's tourist gems, Cheow Lan Lake, in one day, see the incredible beauty of a freshwater lake surrounded by pristine forests inhabited by wild elephants, and take a ride on a traditional Thai longtail boat along picturesque cliffs rising from the turquoise waters, then this tour is for you!

Breathtaking Panoramic Views

Early in the morning, we will head to the mainland and visit the fairy-tale-like Phang Nga Bay. From the Samet Nangshe viewpoint, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the bay and numerous small islands covered in lush tropical greenery. Upon reaching Cheow Lan Lake, the main destination of our journey, we will visit the Ratchaprapa viewpoint located on the dam of the reservoir. From here, you can admire the magnificent view of the lake with its picturesque rocky islands.

Cheow Lan Lake

You will enjoy an unforgettable ride on a traditional Thai wooden boat. You will visit the Guilin rock formations, the gem of Cheow Lan Lake, and, if you wish, take a kayak ride on your own. You will learn about the history of Cheow Lan Lake, enjoy swimming and relaxation amidst serenity and beauty, admire the vibrant scenery, and take a leisurely stroll.

Delicious Lunch

A delicious and varied lunch will be organized for you at a floating village on the lake, and we recommend bringing some snacks for the journey.

Stops Along the Way

The journey to the lake is quite long, sometimes taking more than 3 hours, so for your comfort, several stops are planned along the way to stretch your legs and enjoy some entertainment. On the way, we will stop to explore a mysterious cave, see wild monkeys, and visit the bright and colorful Bang Tong Buddhist Temple.

Please note that if you are prone to motion sickness during long bus rides, we recommend bringing motion sickness medication.
